ROAM Consultants is a small, woman-owned business that focuses on architectural history services and architecture-based photography.
ROAM’s owner, Susan M. Lankford-Thompson, meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards (36 CFR 61) in Architectural History.
ROAM Consultants is located in Virginia, but we love to travel and have completed projects in almost every region of the United States.
Architectural Historian Services
ROAM Consultants offers a full range of architectural historian services, including National Register nominations, historic property evaluations for Section 106 reviews, historic resource surveys, applications for state and federal historic rehabilitation tax credits, and other historic research and photography projects.
What’s more, ROAM Consultants has worked all over the country with a variety of clients from non-profits and religious groups to state and local governments, historic preservation commissions, and private developers.
